The little beach town of Paraty is an outdoor museum set in a tropical paradise. Paraty has become a popular tourist destination in the last years and it is famous for the beauty of the city and the magnificence of its coasts and hills. The Portuguese and colonial architecture has been perfectly preserved and several buildings have been reconverted into shops and restaurants. Automobile transit is forbidden inside the village in order to preserve the historic sites and the tranquil environment.
